On Day two we headed south east through the Haute Marne solving a number of cryptic and picture clues along the way. The cryptic clues were tremendous fun and allowed some light hearted competition amongst the teams along with plenty of head scratching!
The afternoon saw us cross the border into Switzerland taking in some of the most dramatic Alpine scenery all the while keeping a keen eye out for Greg’s picture clues of the day. We arrived in Lausanne late afternoon, for our two-night stay at the beautiful Beau-Rivage Palace situated on the shores of Lake Geneva.
After cocktails on the terrace and an exclusive I & MT watch showcase, dinner was held in the magnificent Rotunda restaurant. Later in the evening Greg and his team had devised a dart throwing contest to assist the teams in racking up a few extra points! For many, the terrace was the place to be as they sat reminiscing well into the night against the backdrop of a spectacular thunder storm.
